Compac Furniture have a a vacancy for a person with some experience in production to join its furniture manufacturing team. The role offers excellent working conditions and opportunity to advance in responsibilities and remuneration.

- Machine operators

- Cabinet assemblers

- Truck drivers

- Maintenance persons


To be successful in this position you will need to: 

  • Demonstrate a history of dedication, punctuality and reliability

  • Be fit and able-bodied to handle furniture

  • Be able to communicate clearly with other team members and team leaders

  • Be ready to embrace training and the expectation of continuous improvement in the team

  • Have high levels of motivation, be optimistic and action orientated

  • Be ready to embrace new initiatives with an ambition to advance in responsibilities

  • A class 2 licence would be an advantage to assist with furniture deliveries

  • Be willing to undertake a full medical, drug and alcohol test

  • Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa


This is a permanent position with an hourly rate reflecting the employee's experience and skills, then progressing further with career development. Bonus incentives are paid for meeting targets and for accelerated further for improved production. Staff uniform and loyalty incentives are included in the package. 

Hours: 45 per week, finishing mid-Friday
