Maintenance Engineer:

We are looking for a dedicated maintenance engineer with the expertise to take responsibility of maintenance and repairs of woodworking machinery and the factory. This involves CNC machinery, electrical diagnostics, welding, pneumatics, and general engineering. A diagnostic approach with general engineering experience is essential, and some process improvement flair would be an advantage.

To be successful in this position you will need to: 

  • Demonstrate a knowledge, skills and some experience with plant maintenance and CNC and PLC operated machinery

  • Be able to run a preventive maintenance system, record, and report on it

  • Be able to read or research plant manuals and help diagnose faults

  • Be able to access a process and come up with simple improvement ideas to increase production while maintaining safety

  • Be able to communicate clearly with other team members and with production managers

  • Be punctual, fit, and adaptable to the demands of breakdown situations including flexible hours to ensure safety and production demands are met

  • Be flexible in taking up manufacturing tasks as requested to maintain a full-time position

  • Have high levels of motivation, be optimistic, action orientated, tidy and organised

  • Be willing to undertake a full medical, drug and alcohol test

  • Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

Rewards: 

This is a permanent position with an hourly rate recognising the above skill sets. Bonus incentives are paid for meeting targets and accelerated further for improved production. Staff uniform, loyalty incentives and consistent work are included with the package.

Office Admin & Customer Service:

We are looking for an experienced office person to deliver customer service excellence and assist with accounting and administrative duties.

Responsibilities: 

  • Welcoming customers and meeting their expectations

  • Report on customer requirements and interactions via a CRM

  • Complete accounting tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner

  • Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers

To be successful in this position you will need to: 

  • Demonstrate a proven positive, attentive and resourceful response to customers

  • Proven experience with an accounting system such as Xero

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Follow up, document and report on sales enquiries

  • The ability to communicate clearly with your team and managers

  • The ability to work under pressure and multitask

  • Be willing to undertake a full medical, drug and alcohol test

  • Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

Production Programmer - Project Assistant:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated person to be responsible for project costing, production set up and implementing and integrating a new CAD drawing system

Responsibilities:

  • Draw detailed cabinet production drawings from architectural drawings

  • Produce photo-realistic rendered images of developed designs

  • Upload designs into costing system and verify accuracy

  • Set up production schedules to be CNC machine ready

  • Manage project details and coordinate across management, production, clients and install teams

  • Collate and analyse data to produce reports for production managers

  • Ensure customer orders are completed on time, to budget and quality standard maintained

  • Liaise with customers on the install on their projects

To be successful in this position you will need to: 

  • Relevant experience with IT and production software such as Microvellum and or Auto-Cad and SQL databases

  • To demonstrate planning and organisation skills to plan and set up production processes

  • Devotion to detail to ensure high levels of quality

  • The ability to communicate clearly with your team and managers

  • To be customer friendly and able to listen and communicate solutions

  • The ability to work under pressure and multitask

  • Be willing to undertake a full medical, drug and alcohol test

  • Have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
